Almonds and garbanzo beans pilaf

Ingredients
Instructions
300 g brown rice
2 tbsp peanut oil
70 g cashews
70 g sliced almonds
1 minced onion
1 tsp ground cumin
200 g cooked garbanzo beans
80 g raisins
2 tbsp fresh chopped parsley

Heat 600 ml of water in a pan. When boiling, add the rice and let cook 30 minutes (until the rice is tender).

In a frying pan, heat the peanut oil. Add the cashews and almonds. Let fry until golden. Remove from the pan and put aside.
Sauté the onions in the greasy pan. Add the ground cumin then the garbanzo beans and the raisins. Stir-fry for a minute and add the cooked rice, toasted nuts, parsley and stir together to combine.
