When you already have prepared all the meal you may just want to sit and relax.
It takes time to cook and prepare all the dishes and you do not want to spend your meal yawning.

Once again, you want to have a great time so it might be wise to just stop and order your dessert in a bakery. Moreover the famous Bûche de Noel is kind of hard to prepare.

If you really want to do it all by yourself, here are a few ideas for you desserts.

You can opt for a chocolate-hazelnuts cake with English cream or just some vanilla ice.

If you think that you already had too much to eat, but it is Christmas, you cannot skip the dessert. Why not preparing a fresh fruit salad?
No need for a recipe, choose fresh fruits from the season and cut them in pieces. Place it in the fridge until you serve it.
It is refreshing and poor in calories.

For those of you who are interested in the fresh fruit salad but think that it does not represent the Christmas dessert, add a few different kind of Christmas goodies. Everyone has a few family recipes for Christmas goodies.
I give you two to add to your list: Pecan squares and gingerbread.
Those can be prepared a few days in advance.
